From Sactown Makers to Urban Technology Lab

Sactown Makers began as a small idea with a big heart. We wanted to create a space where people could learn real skills, share what they know, and make things that matter. At first it was a simple maker community. We opened the door to anyone who wanted to learn. Coders, programmers, welders, woodworkers, artists, engineers, hobby tinkerers, and complete beginners all came together because they wanted to build something. We started with hands on training, workshops, and small groups who simply wanted to learn how to make something real.

What we did not expect was how quickly it would grow. People showed up not just for the tools but for the community. They wanted a place where they could ask questions, get help, try ideas, and explore what was possible. It became a place where people could find clarity, confidence, and support.

From that momentum Urban Technology Lab was born.

Urban Technology Lab takes everything we learned from Sactown Makers and focuses on the next step. This is where we help people turn ideas into real Minimum Viable Products. This is where we guide you to narrow your concept, build with purpose, and test faster. It is a space where community and creativity meet real progress.
